Safari Overview

Day 1: NAIROBI – OL-PEJETA (220km: Approx. 3-4 Hours)

10 Days, 9 Nights: Amboseli, Aberdares National Park, Ol Pejeta Wildlife Sanctuary, Lake Naivasha Attractions, Masai Mara Game Reserve Tour Explore 6 Parks and Encounter Exciting Big Game in a 4×4 Land Cruiser or Tour Van

Day1: Nairobi – Amboseli (250 km, Approx. 4 hrs drive)

07:30 hrs: Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or airport.
Begin your Kenya safari adventure, driving via the Nairobi-Mombasa highway. The scenic route takes you through expansive savannah plains dotted with local homesteads and Maasai tribesmen herding cattle.
Arrive at Amboseli National Park in time for a welcome shower, refreshments, and lunch. Later, enjoy an afternoon game drive when the animals are most active. Weather permitting, you’ll have a view of the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro.mOvernight: Amboseli safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park

Spend a full day in Amboseli, immersing yourself in the park’s beauty. Enjoy morning, mid-morning, and afternoon game drives. The park is known for its breathtaking scenery and wildlife sightings, including elephants, lions, and various bird species. Relax at your lodge or camp in between game drives. Overnight: Amboseli safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 3: Amboseli – Aberdares National Park (410 km, Approx. 8 hrs)

Leave Amboseli for a long drive to Aberdares National Park. Stop for lunch and refreshments at Blue Post Hotel in Thika before continuing through Kenya’s central highlands. Arrive at your tree lodge, where you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy game viewing from your balcony. Overnight: Tree lodge in Aberdares National Park.

Day 4: Aberdares National Park – Ol Pejeta (80 km, Approx. 1 hr)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Travel through tea and coffee plantations and visit a local market before heading to Ol Pejeta Game Conservancy. In the afternoon, enjoy game drives with opportunities to see rhinos and chimpanzees. Overnight: Ol Pejeta safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 5: Ol Pejeta Game Conservancy

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today will be a day of wildlife exploration, with the chance to see endangered species like wild dogs, Grevy’s zebra, Jackson’s hartebeest, cheetahs, and lions. Overnight: Ol Pejeta safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 6: Ol Pejeta – Lake Naivasha (230 km, Approx. 4 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Depart Ol Pejeta for Lake Naivasha, stopping at Thomson’s Falls to admire the waterfall. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride to see hippos and birdlife. Then, take a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, home to giraffes, zebras, and more. Overnight: Lake Naivasha safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 7: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara (285 km, Approx. 5-6 hrs)

Start your day with a trek at Hell’s Gate National Park. Rent a bike to explore the park and spot giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. Afterward, continue your journey to Masai Mara for an afternoon game drive. Overnight: Masai Mara safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 8: Masai Mara Game Reserve – Full Day

Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner
Enjoy a full day of game viewing in the Masai Mara, one of the most exciting wildlife ecosystems in the world. This park hosts an unparalleled concentration of wild animals, including the Big Five and other lesser-known species. You will visit the Mara River, where you may spot hippos, crocodiles, and during migration season (July – October), the Great Migration. Overnight: Masai Mara safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 9: Masai Mara Game Reserve – Full Day

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Another day of unlimited game viewing in Masai Mara. You can also opt for cultural visits to a Maasai village or enjoy a hot air balloon ride for an aerial view of the Mara (additional cost). Overnight: Masai Mara safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 10: Masai Mara – Nairobi (265 km, Approx. 5-6 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast
After an early morning game drive, depart for Nairobi, with a lunch stop along the way. You’ll arrive in Nairobi by 4:30 pm. Drop off: Nairobi hotel or Nairobi airport.
