Arrival at the International Airport in Kigali where we will personally welcome you. According to your arrival time we may have a city tour which include the visit of Kigali Genocide Memorial. After that you will be transported to hotel for overnight and dinner at: Budget-Five to Five Hotel (BB)

Drive to Nyungwe National Park via Huye the second biggest town in Rwanda for visit Ethnography Museum one of the largest museums in Africa. You will have your Lunch at Ibis hotel . If time allow us, we may stop in Nyanza in order to visit the former Kings Palace and also Murambi Genocide memorial then continue to Nyungwe park and you will spend the overnight at:

After Breakfast, head for Chimpanzee trekking early in the morning and Canopy Walk in the afternoon. Nyungwe is not only one of the oldest, mistiest rainforests, it’s also one of the best-preserved mountain forests in East Africa. In 2005 this region was officially declared to be a National Park. To maximize our chance of viewing more primate in the forest we will have a walk to the water falls in the morning then afternoon visit Colubus Monkey.You will spend the night at:

After Breakfast you will travel to Volcanoes National Park via Kibuye where will stop for Lunch. On the way you will enjoy the view of Lake Kivu showers, Coffee plantation,….arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight at:

Early in the morning we are going to start the gorilla trekking. In groups of maximum 8 people, you will receive an introduction from a park ranger at the national park gate. We are going to track the gorilla family through the rainforest on the volcanoes. Like the chimp trekking, once we have reached the family we are allowed to spend one hour with these amazing creatures.

After a lunch break, if time allow ,we will visit the Iby‘Iwacu project; a local community project we are sponsoring whom once earned their money by hunting gorillas and cutting the trees of the national park in order to gain fire wood and cultivate the communities agricultural products. However the project has now adapted to a sustainable life style to protect the national park and the gorillas, allowing nature to flourish while the community still earn their daily income due to the attraction of the park.  Overnight at:

After breakfast you will travel to Lake bunyonyi via kisoro town, Cyanika boarder then continue to the lodge where you will have your lunch. Late afternoon you will enjoy the boat ride. Overnight at:

After Breakfast you will travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park. We will provide you with a packed lunch during the journey. You will enjoy a game drive through the park, including a trip to the Ishasha Area. Among the many activities includes visiting the Kob mating ground where a large number of the Kobs converge, In this area there are lions, Kobs, Elephants, Buffalos, warthogs, bush buck and water buck. In the late afternoon you will be transported to your Lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at:

Early wake up and morning tea at the lodge. Followed by an early morning game drive on the way to Mweya but via Ishasha to see the climbing lions then heading to Mweya safari where you will have your lunch. Later afternoon will have an evening game drive in Mweya park. Dinner and overnight at:

Early Breakfast at 6.00am, followed by a trek to Kyamburato see the chimps. Return to the lodge for lunch and then gofor a trip to Kazinga channel. The Kazinga Channel is a natural channel of 36 km long between Lake George and Lake Edward. You will be able to see elephants, hippo, Nile crocodile and many water birds. The water birds are plentiful along the channel: African skimmers, African fish eagles, cormorants, saddle-billed storks, pelicans, etc. The Kazinga Channel divides Queen Elizabeth in a northern (Mweya) and southern part (Maramagambo, Kyambura, and Ishasha). . Early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, then return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast we will depart for Fort Portal via Kasese. Lunch in Kasese. In the afternoon we will visit the market in Fort Portal before being transported to your overnight hotel where you will have dinner and stay overnight at:

After an early breakfast, we will depart for Murchison Falls. This will be long journey approximately 8hours. In middle of our journey will stop at Hoima Town for Lunch then continue to Murchison Falls National Park where you will be transported to your overnight accommodation at:

After an early morning game drive in the park we will return to the lodge for breakfast. You will then have the chance to relax or take part in the next game drive in the park. After lunch you will depart for a 3 hour Boat launch trip up-stream towards the base of Murchison Falls. Hippos, huge Nile Crocodiles and fantastically varied bird-life abound. Here Bird watchers will appreciate the rich bird life and the animal community. Activities: Wild life viewing and Bird watching. After breakfast we will depart to the upper edge of the falls in order to gain the chance to see them from the opposite side. Afterwards you will be transported to Nakasangora, where we will visit the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Packed lunch will be provided on the way. Then we will drive to Kampala, according to your flights we may take you straight to the Entebbe airport or next day.

1. Bookings /reservations policy
All bookings/reservations are made through Email for the purposes of referencing.
All booking vouchers are sent via email tour client for their reference
All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 3-4 business days.
All confirmed bookings should be confirmed with a 50% deposit to secure reservations.
The balance is paid 7 days before travel to allow us to clear with our suppliers on time.
Late reservations and modifications will attract a fee to secure reservations imposed on us by our suppliers.

2. Travelers name
All travelers/visitors are responsible to ensure their names match their passport/Id card names.

3. Inclusions/Exclusions
All inclusions on the tour package cover’s hotel service charges, Meal plan, transport(air/rail), entry & park fees, sightseeing, game drives as shown on each of the itinerary.
The Shades of Africa Travel ltd reserves the right to modify the tour arrangements for smooth operation of the tour.
The tour package doesn’t include items of personal nature, tips, gratuities.

4. Ticketing policy
All airfares or Train tickets are offered as a portion of our tour prices. These fares are subject to change without notice and on certain peak periods may not be available.

All tickets for children are subject to Airline/train rules and regulations.

5. Child policy
Child above 12yrs of age sharing with 2 adults will be charged 50% of adult rate.
Children on own room sharing pay 75% of adult rate.
The company provides child seats on our fleet of vehicles on request.

6. Transport Policy
All our tour packages have included transport which is done by our fleet of vehicles

All our fleets are fully insured incase any misfortunes
All our fleets are fully registered with the regulatory bodies.

7. Cost/Price
All our tour packages are customized as per the client request and are packaged in regards to seasons/destinations.

All Prices are subject to 16% VAT.

8. Payment
Payment is required by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) or by cash transfer to the Shades of Africa Travel Ltd Bank Account, cheques, and pre-paid credit cards. Third parties may pre pay/credit or debit card presented at the start of the engagement must always be in the name of the traveler booking the tour package. Vouchers cannot be transferred, ie the person named on the voucher as the traveler must be the person reserves the booking.

9. Cancellation Policy:
Notice of cancellation must be made in writing to Shades of Africa Travel Ltd and the following scale of cancellation fees will be applied.

NOTE: Shades of Africa travel reserves the right to accept or decline any passenger or any trip should that person physical or mental condition impede the operation of the tour or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of other tour.
