Pick-up from Nairobi at 0600hrs
Early morning pick-up from the client’s hotel, residence or airport. Depart Nairobi and drive along the scenic Nairobi–Nakuru highway.

08:30 AM – Menengai Crater
Arrive at Menengai Crater and enjoy the spectacular views across the Great Rift Valley. Guests can take a short walk around the viewpoint and enjoy photography. Menengai is a major volcanic feature overlooking the Nakuru area.

10:30 AM – Lake Nakuru National Park
Enter the park and begin a game drive through the lake’s surrounding woodland and grassland areas.

Wildlife may include black and white rhino, Rothschild’s giraffe, buffalo, zebra, waterbuck, baboons and various bird species.

12:30 PM – Lunch 🍽️
Enjoy a packed picnic lunch at a designated area, or upgrade to a hot lunch at a lodge depending on the client’s preference. Both picnic and lodge lunch options are commonly offered on Nakuru day excursions.

01:30 PM – Afternoon Game Drive
Continue exploring the park, with possible visits to scenic areas such as Baboon Cliff, Lion Hill, the lakeshore or Makalia Falls, subject to road and weather conditions.

06:30–07:00 PM – Arrival in Nairobi
Drop-off at the client’s hotel, residence or airport.

Day 1 – Nairobi National Park

Nairobi → Nairobi National Park

  • Pick up from hotel/airport in the morning.
  • Proceed for a game drive in Nairobi National Park.
  • Look out for lion, leopard, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, rhino and various bird species.
  • Visit Giraffe Centre or Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.
  • Lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Transfer to Nairobi hotel for overnight.

Dinner and Overnight: Radisson Blu

Day 2 – Nairobi → Lake Naivasha

  • Breakfast and check out.
  • Drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley.
  • Arrive in Naivasha and check in.
  • Lunch at the lodge.
  • Afternoon boat safari on Lake Naivasha, with opportunities to see hippos and waterbirds.
  • Optional visit to Crescent Island for a walking safari among giraffes, zebras and other wildlife.
  • Return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3 – Naivasha → Maasai Mara

Approx. 5–6 hours’ drive

  • Early breakfast and check out.
  • Depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve.
  • Scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley and rural Kenya.
  • Arrive at the Mara lodge/camp for lunch.
  • Evening game drive.

Day 4 – Maasai Mara (full day)

Explore the Mara’s expansive savannah plains, searching for the Big Five and other wildlife. Depending on the season and wildlife movements, clients may encounter:

  • Lions and other big cats
  • Elephants and buffaloes
  • Giraffes and zebras
  • Wildebeest and antelopes
  • Hippos and crocodiles around the Mara River
  • A variety of bird species

DAY 1 – Nairobi → Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Morning

  • Pick up from Nairobi and drive towards the Mt. Kenya region.
  • Enjoy scenic views of the central highlands and Mt. Kenya.
  • Arrive at Ol Pejeta around lunchtime.
  • Check in and have lunch.

Afternoon

  • Afternoon game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
  • Look out for rhino, elephant, lion, buffalo, giraffe and other wildlife.
  • Optional visit to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary.
  • Return to the lodge before sunset.

DAY 2 – Ol Pejeta → Lake Nakuru

Morning

  • Early breakfast and check out.
  • Drive towards Lake Nakuru through the Great Rift Valley.

Afternoon/Evening

  • Arrive at Lake Nakuru and have lunch.
  • Afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park.
  • Search for rhino, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, lion and other wildlife.
  • Enjoy views of the lake and surrounding escarpments.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

 

DAY 3 – Lake Nakuru → Maasai Mara

Morning

  • Breakfast and check out.
  • Depart for Maasai Mara.

Afternoon

  • Arrive in the Mara and check in.
  • Lunch at the camp.
  • Afternoon game drive.
  • Explore the Mara plains and search for lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest.

Dinner and Overnight: Mara Sopa Lodge/Similar
Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

 

DAY 4 – Full-Day Maasai Mara Game Drive

  • Early breakfast.
  • Depart with a packed picnic lunch.
  • Spend the entire day inside the reserve without returning to camp. Explore the Mara River area where conditions permit. Continue wildlife viewing until approximately 4:30–5:00 PM.
